England's David Horsey was ISM's highest placed finisher in the Sportsbet Australian Masters at Huntingdale in Melbourne. Horsey, winner of the 2008 Challenge Tour Rankings, shot rounds of 71, 68, 71 and 74 for a four under par total and a tie for 17th spot.

Danny Wardrop finished in a tie for 25th, whilst Dale Marmion in a tie for 43rd after three rounds slipped to finish in a tie for 61st after carding a disappointing 77 in the final round. The event was won by Australian Rodney Pampling who won at the third extra hole in a play-off from compatriot Marcus Fraser, both of whom finished on a 12 under par total.

It was a tie for 17th spot for India's Jeev Milkha Singh and partner Jyoti Randhawa in the Omega Mission Hills World Cup in China and 16th for the Irish partnership of Paul McGinley and Graeme McDowell. Sweden's Henrik Stenson and Robert Karlsson snatched the title from Spain with a magnificent 63 in the final day fourball.

In action around the world next week are Lee Westwood and James Kingston who are two in the field of 12 playing in the Nedbank Golf Challenge at Sun City's Gary Player Country Club in South Africa.
