David played in the Castello Masters Costa Azahar near Valencia in Spain, the tournament hosted by Spain's Sergio Garcia.

David shot rounds of 74 and 71 in blustery conditions and finished on three over par for two rounds and missing the halfway cut which fell at one under par.

David now makes the journey to Singapore to play in the Barclays Singapore Open which begins on Thursday.
