David played in the Joburg Open at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club in South Africa where he shot rounds of 73 on the East Course and 73 on the West course leaving him on four over par and missing the halfway cut which fell at three under par.

Winning for the second time in as many weeks was South Africa's Charl Schwartzel who took top honours on twenty three under par.

David now moves on to Abu Dhabi where he plays in the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship which begins on Thursday.
