David played in the BMW Italian Open at Royal Park I Roveri in Turin where he shot 74 and 73 in the first two rounds. This gave him a three over par total of 147 which missed the halfway cut that fell at level par. Fredrik Andersson Hed claimed the title on sixteen under par by two shots from ISM's David Horsey.

David now takes a week off before playing in the European Tour's flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship at the Wentworth Club in Surrey.
