David played in the European Tour flagship event the BMW PGA Championship at the newly designed Wentworth Club in Virginia Water, Surrey, where he finished in a tie for 61st.

David put together rounds of 71, 74, 73 and 73 giving him a 291 total of seven over par. The winner of the event was England's Simon Khan on six under par.

He now travels to Spain for the Madrid Masters which begins on Thursday.
