David played in the 3 Irish Open at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club where he finished in a tie for 44th.

David started the week at the head of the field after a 64 in the first round but he then shot rounds of 75, 73 and 73 to leave him on one over par for the event. England's Ross Fisher was the winner with a score of eighteen under par.

David now takes a couple of weeks off before resuming at the Czech Open.
